Staff Educational tour:
The weather has been cold since past
few days in Pothnal. In the season of winter we the 17 Vimukti staff
along with Director and Asst. Director wanted some kind exposure for
learning, perhaps outside the Social field work. The idea was put
forth and two days of tour was organized. These were the places of
tour namely Murdeshwara, Gokarna, Yana and Echo beach Karwar. The
tour was filled with team building activities, planned by Fr. Elvin
Lopez the Asst. Director, Vimukti, Pothnal. The learning in such a
beautiful environment was full of fun as well. The best part of the
tour was swimming and playing at the Echo sea beach.
All of us the staff and director had leisure from our routine life
and we just let us enjoy and dance in glory. The tour was coupled
with songs, dance, music, games, home-made breakfast and dinner and
much merriment. We experienced the natural pictorial fields,
hill-tops, attractive parks, serene beaches. The staffs were
thrilled and enthusiastic to learn new things about history and
science, which touched their lives in some way or the other. Their
eagerness to gain knowledge was quite evident in their never ending
questions. In fact now all of us are eagerly waiting for another
such a trip.
