"Education is the
most powerful tool we can use to break the cycle of poverty and
build a better future." In the villages around Pothnal Raichur,
Chikkodi and Banakal, many children drop out of school simply
because their families cannot afford basic school supplies. Their
parents daily wage laborers, construction workers, rickshaw pullers,
migrates or domestic helpers struggle to meet daily needs, making
education a distant dream. To address this, Vimukti Charitable
Trust stepped in to support underprivileged students. This year, we
provided educational kits to 350 deserving children studying in
Government Schools from grades 5 to 10th. Each kit included
notebooks, uniforms, bags, shoes, and other essentials. Students
were selected after home visits and recommendations from school
headmasters, ensuring support reached the most deserving. We also
conducted counseling sessions for parents, encouraging them to keep
their children in school. For these children, the kits brought not
just materials, but hope and motivation to continue their education.
