Trust Pothnal celebrated World Nature Conservation Day, on July 28th
2024 in our targeted villages. the event dedicated to raising
awareness about the importance of protecting the natural
environment. This day emphasizes the need for sustainable practices
to ensure a healthy planet for future generations. The program
highlighted the critical role of natural resources in our lives,
including water, air, soil, minerals, and plants, and underscores
the necessity of conserving these resources to maintain ecological
balance. On this day Vimukti took initiatives by distributing 500
saplings to the children in the schools, SHGs members and youth in
the villages. Educational campaigns, tree planting drives, clean-up
drives and promoting sustainable practices were held in various
places. Nearly 520 members attended and got motivated from this
program.
