The Dengue Awareness
Campaign was initiated on 15th July, 2024 to educate the public
about dengue fever, its transmission, prevention, and management.
The campaign aimed to reduce the incidence of dengue by increasing
community awareness and promoting proactive measures to prevent
mosquito breeding. Health staff along with other staff visited the
villages and identified mosquito breeding sites such as stagnant
water bodies, open drains, and garbage dumps etc. vimukti staff
Motivated the people to remove stagnant water, proper disposal of
waste and community cleaning initiatives. The Dengue Awareness
Campaign successfully achieved its objectives by raising awareness,
promoting preventive measures, and reducing dengue cases in targeted
areas. Continued efforts and community engagement are essential to
sustain the impact and further reduce the incidence of dengue fever.
