“Camp is where I
learned about myself; facing fears, trying new things, pushing my
boundaries, and accepting myself.” -says Sinchana, Pothnal
Vimukti organized a sponsored children summer camp from 5th to 6th
April,2024 in its premises. The summer camp has been successful in
giving a new and wonderful experience for these children. This was
evident by the enthusiasm and eagerness with which the children were
taking part in various activities organized in the camp. Children
were very active and busy in different activities like drawing,
painting group games. It was evident that such camps do play an
important role in shaping children’s view of the outside world. More
importantly, the camps conducted by the Vimukti have been able to
develop harmonious relations between children from different castes
and religions. Children participated in various games and creative
activities. Thus, this camp has been able to give a platform to the
under privileged children to showcase their unique talent.60
