Vimukti Prepares 30 poor women and men in Sustainable Skills in
Tailoring sponsoring Rs. 9,60,000/- Give a man a fish and you feed
him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime:
This is exactly what
VCT professes through its vocational training Centre. Poor girls and
women both from the rural areas sitting idle at home are specially
focused for their development in view through job opportunities
beginning with tailoring skills. They will lead them to become
economically self-sufficient. Personality development leadership
training is also added to their learning. Some are emotionally
disturbed because of domestic violence and want a way out in their
economic and social life while others are gripped with generational
poverty. This program has scaled their outlook to better social
living and economic empowerment. This highlight of the one-year
training program is the gift of a sewing machine along with a
toolbox and intensive training cost worth Rs. 32,000/-( total amount
9,60,000/-). This way, the support of VCT helped 30 poor women
staying alone at home get integrated into the society.
