Distribution of play materials to AWC centres- nearly 500 children in Manvi Taluka benefiting: Vimukti Pothnal

“Play gives children a chance to practise what they’re learning.” Pursuing the importance of games for children’s life Vimukti charitable trust in association with Antyodaya Centre, Mudhola Taluka, Bagalakote District Distributed play materials to various AWCs on 9th December 2021. Addressing the animators meeting Rev.Fr. Satish Fernandes, the director of Vimukti opined that attractive environment in the AWCs is very essential in order to make the children come to AWCs every day. Play materials attract the children to come without missing and spend allotted time joyfully in the centres. As per the decision in the meeting the play materials were divided equally, packed as appropriate play material bags and distributed in AWCs at Potnal, Jinnur, Jinnurcamp, Tadakal, Udbal, Badlapura, Malkapura, Iralagaddi and Karabhdinni. The play material bags consisted of cloth toys, plastic vehicles, plastic balls, cloth balls, rings, playing kitchen sets, wooden toys, alphabets, learning toys etc., Receiving these materials the children and the staff of AWCs expressed their joy and happiness. Vimukti staff Mr. Jayasheel, Mr. Charli, Mr. Arogyappa, Mrs. Jecintha, Mrs. Shilpa and Ms. Mamatha were present during the distribution of play materials and 500 AWC children are benefiting from this program.
