On 21st February 2020 the briefing of the
report of gathering in Pothnal Health Centre on the issue of Mother and
the Child protection campaign was submitted to the district health
authority. The report included the following issues: the facilities not
up to the mark under J.S.Y, Matr Vandana, Matr Purna, Matr Shree yojene,
and the poor treatment, non availability of the doctors and the staff,
lack of ambulance services, no medical facilities, charging the people
after the delivery of the child and so on. The lok Manch leaders spent
time in discussing these issues with the authority and succeeded in
getting the positive response of addressing these issues immediately.
There was also assurance of addressing these issues at the higher level
meeting with the officials concerned
