The Vimukti charitable trust® with the
collaboration of Ensemble Agissons France had organized sponsor day
program at Pothnal on 04.11.2018. 55 sponsored children along with
their parents participated in the program. This day was filled with
full of entertainment. Sonamma, sponsored child welcomed the guests
on the dais. Sponsored children honored the guests with the
garlands. The program commenced with the prayer dance lead by Arogya
Mary and group. On this special occasion variety of games were
conducted. Different cultural programmes were performed by the
sponsored children. Ensemble Agissons members namely Mr. Daniel
Helbert, President, Mrs. Bernadette, Mr. Marcel, Mrs. Lucie, Mr.
Eric and Mrs. Patricia, were very happy to see all the 55 sponsored
children on that day. Fr. Sathish Fernandes Director, Vimukti in his
speech exhorted all the sponsored children saying that every child
should learn to give value for time and money the sponsors spend on
each child and always remain thankful to their sponsor’s who are
selflessly trying to give better education. Today is the right time
to remember them and to thank them for all their whole hearted
support and encouragement. Child sponsorship is all about making a
long- term difference in the life of a child. Through this
sponsorship you are empowering a child to make a better life for
themselves and their community, allowing them to break out of the
cycle of poverty and despair. Further he encouraged the sponsored
children to increase their participation in our programmes. The
Progarmme came to an end by distributing prizes for the winners.
