An awareness rally was taken out by
Child line Raichur at Muddamaguddi School on 12th of June 2018 on
the occasion of World Day against Child Labour. The rally started
from the School ground and ended at the temple premises.
The children were holding placards with slogans against employing
children. After the rally stage program was organized in the school.
Childline team member Mr. mukkanna staged that employing the
children below 18 years is punishable offence as per law, Both the
persons employing the children and the persons who have supplied the
children are equally responsible. The law provides three years
imprisonment for this offence he explained. Further Mr. Charlie
Vimukti staff said, children are the future of the country. It is
the responsibility of every one to ensure that the children are
provided good education and become good citizens. It is wrong to
employ the children and ruin their future. School headmaster,
teacher’s panchayath members and child line team members were
present and witness this program. 153 children participated and
benefited from this program.
