CKSK meet with Multi stake holders on Issues of Rural Government Schools
Capuchine krishik seva Kendara (CKSK) to address the issues relating to Government schools of rural areas organized a meeting along with multi-stake holders in Vimukti office Laila. Fr. Vinod Mascaranhas presided over the program, Mr. Shailesh Kumar Mrs. Chandrakala members of Jilla Panchayath, Ms. Vimala of Taluka Panchayath member Mr. Shridhar Rao, Kishan taluk coordinator of PADI, Mr, Jakir Husen of Sngatana, Namdev the president of young challengers Shanthappa Young chalengers Mundaje, Anil Dsouza Youth club president Laila, Anthony Kripa chips Ujire, S.G Bhat PRO of Benaka Health center Ujire were present. Fr.Vinod explained in zest the very purpose of coming together. He informed the gathering all support rendered by the Organization in building and strengthening Government schools. He said let to CKCK alone can achieve very little success but with your cooperation certainly we can achieve a lot. That’s why we are all are here. Thank you for responding generously through your valuable presence. Then various problems of government run schools were brought to light by SDMC members and school teachers such as lack of sufficient teachers, dilapidated school buildings, insufficient fortunes, heavy electric line passing over school premises, lack of clean drinking water facility, need of construction of bridge over river to ease children’s movement to schools, presence of open wells, poor maintenance of school toilets, lack of library and science labs etc. Ms. Chandrakala and Mr. Shilesh Kumar Zilla panchayath members assured to work towards these problems and to get Government grants. Mr. Shridar Rao came forward to speak with PDOs of the areas and take appropriate action. Jhakir Husen Sngatana Secretory asked the SDMC members to take active part in the development of schools. Mr. Anthony owner of Krupa Chips , Uire and S.G Bhat PRO of Benaka Health center came forward to help financially as much they can. Benaka Health center assured to conduct free medical checkup in rural schools .Fr Vinod Mascarenhas congratulated the guests who willingly came forward to help these rural schools lacking basic facilities and thanked all for their active participation and cooperation.
