Education - a tool to eradicate Poverty

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” We all know the value of education. There is a lot of change happening in the world; it is because of the vast influence of education. Think about it: Every educated person is not rich, but almost every educated person has a job and a way out of poverty. So education is a fundamental solution to poverty. Even the poorest of the poor wants to know something literally.

From the past Vimukti charitable trust has organized many events in eve of supporting the children who are deprived in various ways. The main area that they deal is the education of children who are affected by poverty. Recently vimukti trust extended its large hands to 83 poor children by way of providing them uniform, shoes, bags, books and other essential stationery items. The distribution was done on a significant day where many prominent dignitaries were present. The children were reminded of the importance of education and were encouraged to become worthy citizens of the society. The trust through this way of support has lightened the burden of the parents. Rev. Fr. Robin Victor the chief guest of the event spoke about the vast change in the field of education, and admonished the parents to create a suitable environment for their children so that they may grow and become worthy citizens of the society. He also appreciated the good work of this organization. Thus the entire program was well organized by the director and the staff.
