On 16th April, 2015, Vimukti club children celebrated their annual
day at Sharada Mantapa, Ujire. 500 children from different areas of
Belthangady Taluka participated and exhibited their talents in the
program. The main intension of this program is to promote the rural
children to cultivate the habit of participating in extracurricular
activities and to motivate and boost up their confidence level.
The program was started with the prayer dance of members of Shri Kripa
children club Padangady. Ms. Kavya, Guripalla welcomed the guests and
the audience to the program.
Ms. Roopalatha, member of Janani children club, Ermalpalke red the
annual report of the children club and briefly explained the procedures
and the activities of the children clubs.
Ms. Nirmala shared her experience in the children club and said that, I
am a member of Chaithra children club since 5 years and Vimukti children
club has given a wonderful opportunity to develop our personality along
with our skills and talents. The Organization has given many awareness
program, cultural and sports competitions, educational assistance and
sponsorship programs for many children. These programs have helped us to
build self confidence and participate in all the activities which are
the base for our life to overcome our hesitation, inhibition, low self
esteem to achieve something special in our lives. I wish all my friends
to utilize this wonderful opportunity.
Mr. Pithambara Heraje, farmer S.P and now President of Gurunarayana Seva
Sangha, Belthangady inaugurated the program and said, this is a unique
program which I attended till now. I am very happy to see these children
here and I appreciate the effort of the Organization for assisting these
poor rural children of Taluka. As children we must have big dreams which
are realistic and should try to reach those dreams with maximum efforts.
The Organization is taking many efforts to improve the educational
status of the children of the Taluka by providing financial assistance,
teachers for the understaffed government school, play materials,
teaching materials and different awareness programs. As the
beneficiaries of the Organization, we should utilize these opportunities
and develop ourselves and should be thankful to the Organization. We
always should look back to the Organization when we reach our goals and
should visit them to thank their efforts. Now days many children are
exposed to different types of violence and as parents we are try to hide
them by thinking their good future. But it is our big mistake to hide
them and to give another opportunity for those criminals to spoil other
children’s life. When we undergo these situations we must seek the
support of the Organizations which specially work for the children to
resolve and fight against those issues. I wish the Organization and all
its beneficiaries good luck and wish to see you all in better positions
to lead India.
Ms. Ashitha member of Neharu children club, Barengaya shared her
experience and said, The Organization has helping all the children in
the club through different activities. We are able to develop many
skills and knowledge after joining to the club. We discuss many issues
and problems related to the children in the club and find suitable
solutions with the help of the staffs of the Organization. It also
provides a good platform to exhibit our talents and skills. I wish all
the children to take this opportunity in better way.
Mr. Vaikunta Prabhu, the secretary of Rotary club said, CKSK is well
known for its work for the women and children in the Belthangady Taluka.
As children we should utilize the facilities given by this kind of
Organization and we should support our family by having better education
and jobs. I wish all the children to be successful in career and may the
Organization become a light of hope to the people who are living in the
dark.
Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas, the director of Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra(R),
Vimukti, Laila done his presidential speech and said Children club is a
wonderful opportunity to the rural children to discuss on various child
rights issue and to develop their personalities through different
activities. Our main objective of the Organization is to promote each
and every child to actively participate in the club activities and to
provide equal opportunity to come forward and reduce their stage fear.
Our farmer president Shri Jawaharlal Nehru says that the children are
the real wealth of the nation. Today parents are more concern to fill
their children’s stomach but not about the education and their rights.
Many children will finish their education till primary as they have
compulsory education in the government schools. There after children may
stop their education and fascinated towards money making and will spoil
their own life. We need to concentrate on each and every child for their
better future and fight for their rights. Now day’s sexual abuse and
harassments are more with the children and these incidents will affect
the mental and physical health of the children. Parents and care givers
should sensitize their children about the good touch and bad touch and
should teach them to defend against these violence. This program is
arranged for every child to exhibit their talents on the stage and I
request all the children to utilize this opportunity for their better
career.
Prizes are distributed to the winners of different competitions. Master
Avinash extended vote of thanks. Ms. Neena 6-14 coordinator managed the
MC of the program. Children from different clubs organized cultural
programs. With the lunch at 1.30 PM the program was concluded.
