Vimukti Pothnal,
celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child by organising an
awareness rally through the streets of Pothnal. A total of 210 girls
actively participated, carrying motivational placards and raising
awareness about girls’ education, equality, rights, safety and
empowerment. Through inspiring slogans and messages, the girls
encouraged the community to end gender discrimination, protect
girls’ rights and ensure equal opportunities for every girl to grow
with dignity and confidence. The rally was followed by a short stage
programme featuring colourful cultural dances and inspiring messages
highlighting the importance of girls’ education, self-confidence,
dignity and empowerment. The girls enthusiastically showcased their
talents, making the celebration meaningful and memorable. The
programme reinforced Vimukti’s commitment to building a society
where every girl is valued, protected, empowered and given equal
opportunities to achieve her dreams.
