Vimukti Pothnal
organized a Legal Awareness Programme for Women to strengthen their
understanding of their rights, legal protections, and available
support mechanisms on 25th August 2026 at Vimukti premises.
The session provided practical information on issues such as
domestic violence, women s rights, child marriage, property and
inheritance rights, workplace safety, and access to legal
assistance. Participants were encouraged to speak up against
injustice and seek appropriate support when their rights are
violated. Nearly 102 women actively participated in the programme
and gained valuable knowledge to protect themselves, support other
women, and promote a safer and more just community. When women know
their rights, they gain the confidence to stand with dignity and
shape a better future.
