Training programme for the economically poor women on Income Generating Activities : Vimukti Charitable Trust ® Chikodi Unit

On 27th June 2026 a training programme was organized for the economically poor women on Income Generating Activities. Mrs Parvathi Veerabhadra Kamate, Mrs Ashwini Koth and Mrs Shaila Sanjeev Pol were the resource persons.

The First Session was on Income Generating Activities, Importance and financial benefits. Mrs Shaila Sanjeev Pol explained about the importance of Income Generating Activities.

The Second Session was on the Garments. Mrs Parvathi Kamate was the resource person. She explained about the income available in stitching of garments with proper business plan.

The Third Session was on the success story of Mrs Parvathi Kamate. She encouraged the women to take up income generating activities.

162 People benefited from this programme. The women of Self Help Groups are trying to take up income generating activities to improve their standard of living.
