On 12th July 2026,
Vimukti Charitable Trust ® through the support of the project of
Italian Bishop’s Conference organized a programme on preparing the
adolescents to be better adults. Dr John Dafedar, Ingli and Mrs
Rayavva Hanamanth Kalloli, ASHA Staff, Belakud were the resource
persons. Fr Robin Minin Lopez, Administraor, Shanthi Sadhana,
Bangalore was the chief guest.
The First Session was on the Adolescents, Growth and Changes that
take place during the Adolescent period and how to cope up with the
Adolescent period. Physical Hygiene and its impact on health by Dr
John Dafedar. He emphasized about the need of personal hygiene.
The second session was on how to face the Adolescent stage and
related problems by Mrs Rayavva Hamamanth Kalloli. She also
explained about the different facilities available for the
adolescent girls.
The Third Session was on Care, Food intake and the nutrients that
are necessary for the adolescent growth by Dr John Dafedar. He
explained about the need of proper exercise and discipline. The
programme was organized for two groups, one in the morning and the
other in the afternoon. 304 adolescents participated in the
programme on preparing the Adolescents to be better adults.
