Lighting the Path to Education for 117 Underprivileged Students: Vimukti Pothnal

"When you educate a child, you empower a generation. When you support a student's dream, you help shape a brighter future for society."In the rural villages around Pothnal, Raichur District, many children from poor families struggle to continue their education due to a lack of basic school supplies. Most of their parents are daily wage laborers, migrant workers, agricultural laborers, or domestic helpers who find it difficult to meet even their family's daily needs. To support these deserving children, Vimukti Pothnal on 21st June 2026 distributed educational kits to 117 students studying in Government Schools from 5th to 10th Standard. Each kit included notebooks, school bags, uniforms, shoes, and other essential learning materials. Beneficiaries were selected through home visits and recommendations from school headmasters to ensure support reached the neediest students. The educational kits not only reduced the financial burden on families but also motivated children to continue their studies with confidence and hope. Parent counseling sessions were also conducted to emphasize the importance of education and prevent school dropouts. "Every child deserves a chance to learn, dream, and succeed.
