United for Dignity: Construction Workers Rally for Rights: Vimukti Pothnal

On the occasion of International Labour Day (May 1st, 2026), the Vimukti Union of construction workers organized a powerful rally from Amershwara Camp to Pothnal. The event witnessed active participation of workers who came together in solidarity to showcase their unity, strength, and determination. Holding placards and raising slogans, the workers voiced their demands for rightful government entitlements, fair wages, and social security benefits. The rally became a strong platform to highlight their struggles and assert their rights with dignity. This collective action not only reflected the courage and awareness of the workers but also reinforced their commitment to fight for justice and a better future. Nearly 152 construction workers members actively participated to claim their rights.
