A three-day leadership
training program for adolescent girls was organized at Vimukti
Organization from 13th to 15th April 2026. Mrs. Ayesha, Head Teacher
of the Government High School, guided participants on developing
leadership qualities, human values, and group management skills. Mr.
Charlie Udbal spoke about children s rights and issues related to
their violation. The program also included peace-building games and
activities to identify village-level problems. On the second day,
the session began with a tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, followed by
a reflection on constitutional values. Mrs. Jessinta conducted
sessions on gender and gender identity, highlighting gender
discrimination, its causes, effects, and prevention. Interactive
activities helped participants understand gender bias in different
social settings. On the third day, participants were introduced to
the Sneha Clinic and local health services. Awareness sessions on
adolescent changes and safe and unsafe touch were conducted using
videos. The program concluded with participant feedback. A total of
120 adolescent girls took part in the training.
