Ambedkar’s Vision in Action: Constitutional Awareness for All: Vimukti Pothnal

Vimukti Pothnal celebrated Ambedkar Utsav on 26th November 2025 in schools and targeted villages, bringing together children, youth, and women from 14 villages. The programme honored the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and promoted constitutional values among rural communities. Children enthusiastically recited the Preamble of the Constitution, and Preamble handbills and Constitutional booklets were distributed to enhance awareness about fundamental rights and duties. Vimukti staff conducted an insightful session on “The Need for Constitutional Literacy in Our Villages,” highlighting Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions to social justice and equality, especially for Dalits and women. The event witnessed active participation of nearly 450 beneficiaries, making the celebration impactful and inspiring. Participants expressed a renewed commitment to uphold constitutional ideals and work towards a just and inclusive society.
