Vimukti Pothnal
proudly organized a Certificate Distribution Program on July 11,
2025, at Rajalabanda village, Manvi Taluk, to honor the women who
successfully completed a five-month free sewing training course.
This initiative is part of Vimukti’s ongoing mission to empower
rural women with practical skills that pave the way to financial
independence. The program was graced by Mr. Jayashil Dotharbandi,
Coordinator of Vimukti, who highlighted the significance of such
training programs in transforming the lives of marginalized women by
offering them sustainable livelihood opportunities through
tailoring. Chief Guest Mr. Kashav Nayak from Rajalabanda appreciated
Vimukti's dedicated efforts in promoting women’s economic
empowerment and encouraged the trainees to utilize their skills
confidently and become role models for others in the community.
Around 35 women trainees received their course completion
certificates, a proud moment that was both motivational and symbolic
of their determination. The presence of the trainer Mrs. Mariyamma,
along with enthusiastic trainees and community members, added warmth
and energy to the event. This ceremony marked yet another milestone
in Vimukti’s commitment to building a more equitable and
self-reliant rural society, where women are skilled, confident, and
economically empowered.
