VIMUKTI is empowering
marginalized communities through the establishment of Child Rights
Clubs (CRC) in villages. These clubs provide children with a
platform to learn about their rights, voice concerns, and
participate in decisions affecting their lives. The goal is to raise
awareness, protect children’s rights, and foster leadership. Formed
in collaboration with schools, community leaders, and parents, each
club consists of 15-25 children aged 10 to 18. VIMUKTI conducts
orientation programs and elects’ office bearers to manage club
activities. The key activities are Educational Workshops: Training
on child rights and protection. Advocacy Campaigns: Awareness on
child labor, marriage, and school dropouts. Community Engagement:
Collaborating with leaders to create child-friendly environments.
Health and Hygiene: Promoting hygiene practices and organizing
health camps. VIMUKTI’s Child Rights Clubs are making significant
progress in protecting children's rights, fostering social
responsibility, and encouraging community participation. With
continued support, the program aims to expand to more villages,
ensuring a brighter future for all children.
