Vimukti charitable trust’s main thrust
is to build up a new generation with spiritual, moral and leadership
qualities. Through a well thought out meticulously planned modules
and practical activities based on life experience for two days
training enable the youths to mould their young minds imbibed with
values of life and lasting vision for self and nation building.
Seminar was organized on 23rd and 24th of March 2017. A leader is
someone who engages in the activity of facilitation and helps a
group of people understand their common objectives and assists them
to plan how to achieve these objectives; in doing so, the leader
remains "neutral" meaning he/she does not take a particular
position. If you want to be a good leader then you have to develop
the qualities of Faithfulness, Acceptance, Communicator, Inspirer,
Listener, Imitator, Teacher, Adviser, Technician, Observer and
Reader said Fr. Sathish Fernandes, Director, Vimukti in his keynote
address.
Mr. Lawrence, Sindhnoor who was the resource Person conducted the
training by making them firstly aware of the traits that they have
to develop to be a Leader followed with interactive session, debates
and games which brought out the qualities in them which they
themselves were not aware.
The Resource Persons kept the participants well engaged through
innovative sessions in improving their skills of observance, reflex,
listening, communication, diagnosis, analysis and emphasized the
need to avoid dependency.
The participants, who had come from Pothnal surrounding villages,
expressed that the training was very fruitful and remarked that such
trainings made them confident and positive and they will be able to
interact with the authorities with self-confidence.
They also appreciated various issues presented to them especially on
leadership qualities they must develop. Personality development is
another area which they must focus for their successful future. 52
