The Vimukti
Charitable Trust ® Pothnal, conducted a free health checkup camp,
from June 1st 2024 to July 7th 2024 in 20 villages of our working
area. On these occasions, Mrs. Shilp, Health Staff gave an awareness
talk on health. She spoke about the consumption of healthy food and
the need for regular health checkups to care for one’s own health.
She highlighted the importance of visiting the doctors especially
for women who face a lot of health issues and consult the doctor on
their health. Mrs. Jacintha, VCT staff, spoke on the importance of
self-care for women. She also spoke on keeping the house and the
surroundings clean and tidy or else it would give rise to contagious
diseases. There was a strong point made on consumption of
vegetables, leafy vegetables, and fruits to prevent Anemia. After
which there was a health checkup made. The concerned medicines and
syrups were provided. The vehicle for Education, Health and Library
necessities from the Vimukti was an aid for these events. Nearly 189
beneficiaries benefited from these health camps.
