Gandhi Vimukti Pothnal organized the "joy of giving" activity in an
Endeavour to make Easter celebration special and reached out to the
150 migrate families at pothnal on 30th of March 2024, Saturday.
Easter festival makes us join with our brethren in doing little
something extra for someone. It is joy, for giving and sharing, for
laughter, for coming together with less privileged families and
children. Easter is an important time for us to not only reflect on
God’s love, but to share His love with those around us through our
concrete actions. Vimukti always believes in saying “great
opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us
every day,” with this motto vimukti celebrates Easter along with
migrant poor families who have traveled from different states in
search of jobs and staying in the temporary tents. On this occasion
we distributed stationery items, like notebooks, pens, tooth brush,
tooth paste, washing soaps, clothes for children etc., encouraging,
and motivating parents to send their little children to continue
their education. On this occasion children and parents were
distributed sweets and nearly 275 stakeholders benefited from this
program.
