VCT, Pothnal organized
a free plant sapling distribution drive in 16 villages from 10th to
25th august 2023. The village leaders’ children and women were
sensitized about their responsibilities towards the environment and
ecology. The main aim of the awareness program was to spread
awareness on the environment crisis, climate change and its
protection. The saplings of various species were distributed in the
villages. The initiatives were lauded by the villagers who committed
to take care of the saplings. The children and community expressed
their interest in preserving the environment by making small
contributions towards betterment of our Mother Earth. We at Vimukti
believe living, Cohabiting and co-existing with nature is the surest
way to a balanced ecosystem, healthy and eco- friendly living
without destructing and harming our environment. Nearly 500 families
and others benefited from this program.
