Vimukti Charitable
trust® Pothnal organised free health checkup camps in Eralagaddi,
Devipura , Karabdinni on 16th and 17th June 2023. 136 adults and 21
children benefitted from the free health check-up. Before conducting
the individual checkup Staff nurse explained in brief the causes of
some of the common sicknesses and advised the participants not to
neglect issues related to one’s health. One should always consult a
doctor when one feels some uneasiness in one’s body. This will
reduce further complications.
Those with minor illnesses were provided the necessary medicine
while those who needed further treatment were referred to the
concerned doctors. Mrs. Jacintha provided the necessary medicine
free of cost. The staff of Vimukti contributed their mite for the
success of the health camp. The director of Vimukti. Fr. Sathish
Fernandes thanked for voluntarily coming forward to conduct this
health camp for the benefit of the poor families.
