organized mass awareness programs in targeted villages of Sindhanoor
Manvi, Sirvar talukas, Raichur District, Karnataka from 9th, to
14th, December 11th to 15th, January and 2nd to 6th February 2023.
"Human trafficking is one of the most tragic human rights issues of
our time. It splinters families, distorts global markets, undermines
the rule of law, and spurs other transnational criminal activity. It
threatens public safety and national security. "But worst of all,
the crime robs human beings of their freedom and their dignity.
That's why we must pursue an end to the scourge of human
trafficking. Keeping these thoughts in mind VCT has been creating
mass awareness in the schools, public places, and in the residential
area, so that our children and women are saved from this evil
practices. Nearly 556 school children and families have benefited
from this program.
