Vimukti Children’s Fest: “Children are budding Stars, the more you
embrace them the more they Shine”
With this lovely
thought, Vimukti Pothnal organized a children fest in collaboration
with Ensemble agissons, France on 15th of January, 2023 at vimukti
premises. The day’s festivities began with a beautiful prayer dance
by Sneha Jyothi boarding students. The opening ceremony was marked
by pouring of the water to the little plant by the dignitaries on
the dais. Mr. Arogyappa in his welcome speech, he thanked the
director Fr. Sathish Fernandes, for giving all the sponsored
children a platform to exhibit their hidden talents. Many stage and
non- stage events like singing competition, dance was conducted and
all the sponsored children took part with zeal and enthusiasm. Fr.
Sathish Fernandes, Vimukti director appreciated the sponsors for
their extraordinary talents which were portrayed on the stage. The
chief guest, Mrs. Veronique while addressing the audience lauded the
efforts put in by each sponsored children and staff, congratulated
all the kids who took part in the events and also thanked the
director and staff for giving a platform for the children to exhibit
their hidden talents by organizing children fest. She also exhorted
sponsored children to take an active part in all the activities of
the trust. Vimukti staff felicitated the dignitaries with garland.
The energetic dance performance of children left everyone
spellbound. The vimukti staff conducted fun games to the children
gathered. Children enjoyed a delicious meal arranged at the vimukti
Premises. Overall, the children fest celebration was thoroughly
enjoyed by the little children. The chief guest gave away the prizes
to the winners and Mr. Charlie the senior staff proposed the vote of
thanks. To close, “Children are the best creation of God, they
spread joy in every season”.
