VIMUKTI Pothnal organized
free health checkups camps in targeted villages of Manvi Taluka. The
Patients who attended for the health checkup, including men women and
children were given input sessions on Yoga in life and its immense
health benefits. the patients were suggested to practice Surya Namaskar,
Pranayama, Anulom-Vilom etc. staff nurse in her sessions educated the
patients on avoiding tobacco, maintaining a healthy body weight, eating
right, doing enough exercise and patients were diagnosed with health
problems like seasonal flu, hypertension, weakness, malnutrition and
other illness were given prescriptions and medicines. Nearly 350
patients were distributed free medicines.
