SCSP, TSP and vocational skill training: Vimukti Pothnal

Vimukti Pothnal organized SCSP/TSP and Vocational skill training in 15 villages of our project area. Government has various schemes and programs under its 33 departments for the development of people belonging to scheduled castes and tribes. Out of these departments, the schemes and programs that are provided under the agricultural department, animal husbandry, forest department and transport and educational department were described in detail by the resource person. The women were encouraged to build a life based on vocational life skills and make use of the different means of assistance provided by the departments of the government. 135 women from various villages were the beneficiaries of this trainings.
