Vimukti children parliament and club
children pothnal organised awareness rally at Malkapur Village, on the
occasion of World AIDS day to make public aware of HIV/AIDS, drug abuse,
human trafficking, child abuse, malnutrition, to stop open defecation
etc. the rally started around 10.30 a.m. from Government primary school
and children and staff used plcards, posters, slogans and flex to make
the public aware. Mr. Ravi raj sagar Malkapura school teacher said in
his speech HIV caused AIDS and interfered with the body’s ability to
fight infection. If detected early, a regular consultation and proper
treatment will help in fighting infection and allows a patient to live
longer. The awareness rally helps the people to know about the disease,
its symptoms and prevention methods. The children gathered for the rally
took pledge to fight against the dreaded disease. The parliament and
club children, school teachers and vimukti staff nearly 110 stakeholders
participated in the awareness rally.
