Vimukti Charitable Trust® A Capuchin
Social Intervention through the generous support of Vimukti Charitable
Trust group, and Mr. Ashok Steven Lobo organized the program on
Distribution of worship articles to St. Clare of Assisi Parish church
and to the 14 substations on 20th December 2020 at Vimukti premises. The
above mentioned donors generously came forward voluntarily to support
and realize this project. The council members of all fourteen
substations of the Parish were present for the program. Rev. Fr Sathish
Fernandes addressing the gathering said that when the need of things for
praise and worship was addressed to the donors, they immediately came
forward with large heartedness and assured to support in whatever way
they could. A word of praise and appreciation was added by the Vimukti
Director for their kind gesture. The place of worship and the prayers
are closely connected to humans. Both help an individual to connect
oneself to God. Rev. Fr. Thomas the parish Priest highly appreciated the
donors for their contribution towards the parish and the substations.
There weren’t enough chairs in the parish Church. Substations didn’t
have carpets, candle stands, Bible, hymn books, prayer books and they
were essential things for worthy praise and worship. All this essential
things were provided by the donors when it was requested. He had great
regards for their thoughtfulness. 100 chairs were donated to the main
parish. Rev. Fr. Joel Lobo the superior of St Clare Vihar addressing the
gathering said that devotion towards God doesn’t arise all of a sudden.
Noise and disturbance does not lead one to God; Structures alone not
enough to have devotion, Singing and music only not enough for praise
and worship. But worthy environments with essential things help us to
deepen our devotion towards God. To create such an atmosphere in the
worship places the role of donors has been highly significant. He
thanked for their sincere support in this regard. He also sought
choicest blessings of God on them and their families for their generous
contribution towards the Church. Sr. Apoline the superior of Anugrah
Convent, Mr. Jayasheel, Mrs. Rajeshwari, and Mr. Yuvaraj Udbal were
present on the dias. High tea was served for all after the program. May
God bless your generosity in hundredfold; gathered people express their
deepest gratitude to all the generous donors for their whole hearted
support and humanitarian work. we would like to thank you and wish you
all the donors a Blessed Christmas season and a Happy Prosperous New
Year -2021 that will spread TRUTH, LOVE AND JUSTICE.
