participated in Mask day rally to encourage people to wear compulsory
face masks and also follow the COVID-19 guidelines to check the spread
of virus. The rally was flagged off from Gram Panchyath Pothnal and
passed through the main thoroughfares of the town by holding placards.
Gram panchyath members and Health department members appealed people on
the streets to compulsorily wear face masks to contain the spread of
Covid-19 pandemic. Nearly 75% spread of the epidemic can be prevented by
wearing mask, washing hands for every 30 minutes and maintaining
physical distancing should be the part of life. Wearing mask and
maintaining physical distancing are the two major weapons to keep
covid-19 far from us. Program was well planned and message was spread to
many people.
