The World Environment Day is observed
every year on June 5th to create global awareness of the need to take
positive actions to protect the environment. The main aim of this
awareness program is to “spreading awareness on environment and its
protection”. Keeping these thought in mind VCT Pothnal celebrated World
Environment protection day at its premises. On this occasion awareness
was created among the students to protect and preserve our mother nature
through tree plantation and cleanliness drive.
Fr. Sathish Fernandes VCT Director highlighted saying, World environment
day is very important day in our life. It is the day when we get aware
of issues related to our environment and pledge to keep it safe for our
better future. We should take care of our environment all through the
life. It can be done only when we will keep our eyes open and be active
to bring some positive changes within ourselves and environment. Vimukti
