Child line 1098, Raichur organized
Awareness programmes for ASHA workers both in urban and rural areas.
Every programme witnessed 15 to 20 animators. They were briefed
about the work of CHILDLINE 1098. They were made aware to make the
best use of the free helpline to meet out such issues where children
ill-treated, sick, made to beg, work in hotels and garages or made
orphans and so on. The children who face sexual abuse, malnourished,
and other disturbing factors were discussed. CHILDLINE Raichur gave
good information to safeguard and protect the children and urged
them to put Child Line poster on the wall of their centers. Nearly
103 ASHA workers benefited from this program.
