Banglore, and Primary Health Center Pothnal, conducted free
Ayurvedic medicine distribution and health check up camp at Vimukti
premises on 29th of December, 2018. Awareness about health and
environment has always been the chief objective of VIMUKTI, which
has always been concerned to achieve the goal in rural areas. Lack
of health awareness is the major problem in rural areas leading to
many diseases. A bit of consciousness is much needed among people to
take some preventive measures. People generally depend on farming to
earn their livelihood regular health checkup up is beyond the
consciousness of the people. Sustainable and safe health service can
be developed by health education, social awareness and herbal
medicines. Herbal medicines are the safest medicines in the world.
The people of India know herbal or ayruvedic medicines more or less
as a part of their life and culture. VIMUKTI took an initiative to
hold a free health check up camp and distribution of ayurvedic
medicines freely.
In this camp, more than 252 patients including old young men and
women took the benefit of free medical assistance. 11 Experts
doctors of Ayurvedic and Yoga from Government Ayurvedic Hospital
Raichur provided specialized treatment for life style disease,
Metabolic disorders and many other ailments such as Piles, Fistulas,
Fissures, spondilitis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain, knee
joints, hyper acidity and migraine, Osteoarthritis, Spondylosis
stress related disorders through Panchakarma & Ksharsutra
techniques. Free medicines were also distributed. After using the
recommended medicine for the two to three days, general patients are
happy with the results and waiting for next camp.
