Vimukti Charitable Trust organized
training on Indian Constitution & Human Rights at VCT Resource
Centre, Pothnal on 27th November 2018. A total of 105 participants
from 20 pockets participated in the trainings. Fr. Sathish Fernandes,
Director, VCT welcomed the gathering and In his inaugural address he
exhorted the participants to teach the Constitutional Values to the
people so that everyone respects the fundamental rights & duties and
enjoys Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. the Resource
Person, Advocate Mr. Yallappa
explained that the Indian Constitution guarantees Fundamental Rights
to all its citizens like Right to Equality, Right to Freedom, Right
against Exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion, Cultural and
Educational Rights and Right to Constitutional Remedies. The
Resource Person continued that Human Rights as enshrined in the
Indian Constitution are generally defined as the rights which every
human being is entitled to enjoy can be found in the Preamble of the
Constitution of India.
