Children parliaments were formed in 13
to have right education in living villages, having regular visits
and organizing the meetings once in a month and mold those
disciplined life and gain their rights and enjoy their childhood
life. More than 300 students participated in a Children’s Parliament
training at various places of project area. The main aim of the
training was to make children aware of the powers of a parliamentary
democracy. They would know how to be a responsible citizen and the
importance of involving themselves in community affairs. Children
were given input session on different rights and its applications.
The major four basic rights were explained (1.Right to Live 2. Right
to Protect 3. Right to Progress and 4. Right to participate). Other
topics included team work, leadership, work heard and perseverance.
Power point presentation, eye breakers, brain storming, drawings and
writings kept the students enthusisastic.
