Vimukti organized awareness’ program
on prevention of contagious diseases at Markumdini village on 25th
July, 2018. Public people were called upon to keep their houses and
surrounding’s clean to avoid contagious, water-borne and
mosquito-borne diseases. People were advised to contribute to create
a disease –free society. Mrs. Jecintha Vimukti staff appealed the
officials of health and education department to create awareness
among people on prevention of spread of contagious diseases,
including dengue and malaria. Door to door campaign was done to
create awareness about prevention of malaria and dengue in the
villages. People were asked to keep clean water stored and not to
allow water to stagnate near the houses which will give way for
breeding ground for mosquitos in the living vicinities.
